During this time Rohin, you still sleep 12 hours a night, going to bed around 7pm and take a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. You still love pasta and fruits as your favorite foods. You're learning so many words now -- it's hard to keep up -- but you love the word car, tea and cup -- in addition to mama, dada, papa, thatha, ama. You do love to drink tea with mommy and daddy as well. Merry Christmas Rohin, our little boy!

Merry 2nd Christmas!
Merry Christmas Rohin! It's your second Christmas. This year, you and your little brother had such a great time. We also had a white christmas this year, as there was still lots of snow left over from the earlier storm. You absolutely love the Christmas tree and say "tree" often. Mommy, daddy, thatha, ammuma, grandma, grandpa and your aunts and uncles were all on hand to celebrate together. You had lots of new toys -- including a brand new mini-kitchen! You really enjoyed opening presents this year and were fascinated by the train that was under the Christmas tree.

Top 10 Snow Ever!
Well, we had perhaps one of the largest top 10 snow storms in the DC area. Today, all of us were home today preparing for Christmas. You went out with mommy and daddy and played on a sled today while mommy and daddy pulled you around. Also, one funny story today -- you were in the bedroom with mommy and spilled water. Mommy said -- oh oh -- we need to clean this up -- can you get a towel. You ran and came running back to mommy with a tissue -- except, it was the end of the toilet paper (you unrolled it all the way from the bathroom to the other side of our bed). It was so funny! Christmas is this week -- more to come soon!

Christmas is Coming
Well, mommy and daddy just got back from an excellent vacation in Cancun and you and Talin had a wonderful time vacationing with grandma and grandpa Jopp. You're very excited about the christmas tree this year and enjoy playing with the bulbs. one time you touched the bulb and daddy said 'ah ah ah" to get you to not to touch the bulb and you turned to him and repeated it. You also know your colors know, which came as a surprise to us. When ammuma was over, she would ask you to reach for the green or red or blue bulb and you did it perfectly! We're so proud! Also, you surprised us when we said "don't touch it" and you said "touch it". You're fascintated by the water in the Christmas tree and love to read books. We had a holiday Christmas party recently for the PDG staff and you had so much fun -- you ate cookies and ran all over ammuma and tha'tha's house. Only a little more time till Christmas!

November 17 Update
Rohin – you’re getting closer to two years old every day. You’re now 19 months old. You just started swim classes this past week and LOVE it! You didn’t want to leave the class on the first day and are kicking your feet a little bit and love to run around in the shallow end. Eating wise, you’re a little pickier these days. You love pizza, mac-n-cheese, and daddy’s special spaghetti. You enjoy playing in the sink, running around the house, and still love being outdoors. At night time, you grab a blanket and drag it around the house and sit on mommy or daddy’s lap while we read a book to you. Before we go to bed, you play this game where you point to different parts of mommy and daddy’s face and you even know all the parts now if asked. Recently, you’ve been asking for you mama often. This past Saturday, you kept saying “mama” and “mama car” to daddy – who took you over to see mommy over at work. Your godmom was over this week, and you love spending time with her – you even let her put you to bed. You also have a new trick where you enjoy leaning across your brother Talin when he is in his bouncy seat.

Happy Halloween!!
Well Rohin, Happy 2nd Halloween! This year you and your brother dressed up as dragons, while mommy and daddy dressed up as a cowgirl and native American. We visited your fairy godmother Judy who gave you and your brother stuffed animals and a stuffed pumpkin. You also visited thatha and ammuma. You also went with mommy and daddy to a Halloween party where you played with the kitchen toy for most of the evening and played with daddy running through some curtains that were hanging at the openining of the door at the basement.

October News
Well Rohin, October has been an interesting month so far. You and Talin now have a new nanny named Kate who you both love so much. You are growing so fast now. You love to ride in your little car, and in the electric minicar -- you can push the accelerator yourself. You love to be outdoors. Your tastes are starting to change. Of course, you love pizza and spaghetti, but you also are now eating quesadillas and even have tried some indian food. Your vocabularly is starting to grow too. You can say squireel, spider, car, water (in spanish too), mama, dada. You can also say compound words -- like bye bye spider. You love to play "ride em cowboy" where you get on top of daddy or mommy and want them to bounce you. You love to read books, and give kisses and hugs to mommy and daddy. Your favorite show at the moment seems to be Yo Gabagaba. You also really like to get in the laundry basket and boxes! Also, mommy and daddy had big news in October. It looks like you're going to be a big brother again! We have a third baby on the way! We love you Rohin!

The Pumpkin Patch
Well, lots of things going on these days. You're really starting to talk more Rohin and jibber jabber. You know the word bugs and cars pretty well. You love being outdoors and riding on the lawnmower with daddy and playing in the dirt.
Over the last weekend, with went to the pumpkin patch in Bluemount. You loved to play on the bouncy with daddy and also you fed and pet the cow, horse, and billie goats. One of your new passions is that you love to play in the sink while standing on a stool. You also love to play in the bathtub and get mommy and daddy wet with all of the splashing that goes on.
