October News

Well Rohin, October has been an interesting month so far. You and Talin now have a new nanny named Kate who you both love so much. You are growing so fast now. You love to ride in your little car, and in the electric minicar -- you can push the accelerator yourself. You love to be outdoors. Your tastes are starting to change. Of course, you love pizza and spaghetti, but you also are now eating quesadillas and even have tried some indian food. Your vocabularly is starting to grow too. You can say squireel, spider, car, water (in spanish too), mama, dada. You can also say compound words -- like bye bye spider. You love to play "ride em cowboy" where you get on top of daddy or mommy and want them to bounce you. You love to read books, and give kisses and hugs to mommy and daddy. Your favorite show at the moment seems to be Yo Gabagaba. You also really like to get in the laundry basket and boxes! Also, mommy and daddy had big news in October. It looks like you're going to be a big brother again! We have a third baby on the way! We love you Rohin!

The Pumpkin Patch

Well, lots of things going on these days. You're really starting to talk more Rohin and jibber jabber. You know the word bugs and cars pretty well. You love being outdoors and riding on the lawnmower with daddy and playing in the dirt.

Over the last weekend, with went to the pumpkin patch in Bluemount. You loved to play on the bouncy with daddy and also you fed and pet the cow, horse, and billie goats. One of your new passions is that you love to play in the sink while standing on a stool. You also love to play in the bathtub and get mommy and daddy wet with all of the splashing that goes on.

18 Months Now!

Rohin, I cannot believe how big you’ve grown. You’re such a smart little boy. Let’s see, where to begin. First, a funny story. So daddy loves to watch wilderness survival shows and apparently, you do too. While watching man vs. wild on TV, you watched the host of the show eat a worm but spit it out. Immediately, you starting making spitting noises to act like the host of the show. The funniest moment came when you came up and kissed daddy and then ran out on the deck and made a spitting noise! Daddy laughed out loud.

You love to be outside Rohin – it’s your favorite thing to do. Mommy and daddy take you out back so you can play in the yard and ride on daddy’s lawnmower. You actually walk up to the barn and point for the lawnmower. You’re still a great eater and particularly enjoy spaghetti, strawberries, green beans, lima beans, zucchini, mac-n-cheese. You’re still in diapers right now, but we don’t think that will last long. You still go to bed at 7pm and get up around 6am. You take a nap about 9:00am and again around 2 or 3pm for about an hour each time. You’re a great brother and come up to Talin and pat him on the head or try to feed him a bottle sometimes. You also love to read books. Mommy and daddy read to you everyday.

You’re running a lot now, which means you have some pretty spectacular falls on the floor sometimes, but after a few seconds, you shake it off and keep on trucking. In evenings sometimes, when daddy is cooking, he will give you pots and pans so that you can play on the floor next to him and help him cook. You also love going to the playground and particularly like the stairs and the sliding board. We love you and Talin so much and love every moment with you both.

August 2009

Well, summer is moving along quickly this summer. We took some recent pictures of you while we are at mommy's office hanging artwork. You were such a good boy and watched Dora, the Explorer.

You're growing up so fast Rohin. You don't talk yet, but jabber a lot. You seem to know what you're saying, but we don't quite understand yet. You still love to be outside. You're a great brother and try to give your little brother bottle sometime and pat him on the head like daddy pats your head. You love to eat about anything, but still love fruits, vegetables (like string beans) and spaghetti.

Mommy and daddy also bought you and Talin an electric car too! you couldn't wait to get into it, but haven't quite figured out how it works. you also love stairs! Your favorite books are "I love you" and "I want to be your personal penguin" and "Say Hello to the Farm". You love when your grandparents visits and Anna your nanny, who visits you everyday.
Also, mommy hasn't wanted to cut your hair -- but next week, you're going to get your first haircut!

Talin's Baptism Party

When we got back from the beach, the whole family went to grandma and grandpa's farm to celebrate Talin's Baptism! You had a great time too Rohin celebrating with your brother. You got to swim in the pool and you got so excited about being in a tent that Uncle Dow had setup.

You're growing up so fast Rohin. You understand practically everything now. You are saying a few basic words and are using lots of hand gestures. You are now trying to climb out of things now and still love light switches and doors!

Your First Trip to the Beach

Hello my little boy -- so we had a wonderful family vacation in July of 2009. We decided to go with the entire family to Ocean City, MD. We stayed at Sunset Island in a townhome. Grandma nd grandpa Jopp came with us from Sat. to Wed. and Ammuma and Thatha came up till Friday. Also, your godmother Usha, godfather chet and Aunt Nisha, Veena and Uncle Ahmeet came with your best friend Jovin. We had such a wonderful time. You got to go and play on the bayside and also on the Atlantic. You love to play in the sand. Dad buried you a little bit in the sand and you loved putting sand on the blankets. You also were very brace and walked in the water. We also had a race car float that you enjoyed using! When you got tired on the beach, you would climb up on daddy's lap. The weather was absolutely perfect and mommy and daddy and Talin loved being all together with our family. We love you Rohin!
