Happy 1st Birthday Bash!!!

Well, mommy planned a huge birthday party for you with all of our friends and family. 90 people were on hand to wish you a very happy birthday. We had a moon bounce and obstacle course race, along with a huge egg hunt (300 to be exact). The weather was perfect, in the upper 70s and you even found three eggs yourself. Daddy and mommy dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Bunny.

Happy 2nd Easter!

Well little boy, this is your first second holiday! It's easter weekend. You were born last year on Holy Thursday. For Easter, we went down to visit grandma and grandpa at the farm. We all had such a great time!

You started walking on April 3rd (assisted with a hand) and haven't stopped since. You really don't want to crawl anymore, but are looking for someone's finger to hold onto and walk around. You love it when mommy says "muy bueno" and have a smile on your face often. You love to read books that allow you to open things and love one book called Tails, particularly a page that you open up that says clingy (you laugh everytime). You also have learned to open doors and play hide and seek with others and laugh everytime you see someone poke out from behind the door. We also just moved you to a new room, which is a construction theme! You love being in your crib looking out of the windows. You also love to touch Yogi and get upset when he doesn't let you.

More Birthday Celebrations

So the parties continue Rohin to celebrate your first birthday! After your first party, grandma, grandpa, mommy and daddy went with you to a local park. We then visited your fairy godmother and fairy grandfather Judy and George next door and some of their relatives and friends and then went over to Ammu-ma and Tha-Tha's house for more celebration with about 30 of their closest friends! Besides having a little cold, you had a great time!

Happy Birthday Rohin!!!

Well, it's your first birthday little boy! All of your grandparents and your aunties were on hand to celebrate. Mommy made you a blues clues cake and even wore a shirt that looked like Steve's (from the show). You had such a great time and ate cake with both of your hands, as the grandmothers looked on and encouraged you! It's hard to believe that one year has already flown by. Happy Birthday!!!!

1 Year is Around the Corner

Well Rohin, it's so hard to believe but you're almost 1 year old. It's been a very cold February, with our first major snow arriving on March 1st with about 6 inches. You couldn't play in the snow yet, but you enjoyed looking at it outside. You love to stand now and pull yourself up everything -- furniture or mommy or daddy's pants. You hold your hands up when you want to be picked up and just in the end of Feb, you started pointed at things of interest. In one case, you went with daddy to the food store and pointed up, where when daddy looked up, he saw that you were pointed to a TV with both of your pictures in it! You're such a smart little boy and so kind and sweet. You almost always have a smile on your face.

Some interesting things you like right now. Well, you love to eat fruits, like bannanas and oranges. You love wine corks for some reason and are always in the basket of wine corks that mommy and daddy save. You're still saying dada and doi-da and try to say yogi by saying "ya". You love give love bites too now that you have your teeth.

Your little brother continues to grow in mommy's tummy and is expected to arrive in another month or two! So get ready to be a big brother!

Welcome to 2009!

You're now crawling on your own and love to eat solid foods now, particularly from mommy's cereal in the morning. Your favorite show is blues clues on Noggin. And you laugh out loud when daddy flashes his credit card. Welcome to 2009 our wonderful son. We love you.

Rohin's First Xmas

Well little boy, we celebrated your first Christmas. Ammuma, grandma, Thatha, grandpa, Savitha, Sadhana, Dow mommy and daddy were all there to celebrate with you. You had a great big Christmas with so many wonderful presents. At Christmas, we also announced that you will have a little brother born this May.
